categories
Compost Australia
is legally constituted as a National Division of the Waste Management
Association of Australia (WMAA). Compost Australia members therefore
must also be members of the WMAA, and are subject to the associated
WMAA rules and code of conduct.
Full membership:
To be eligible for full membership of Compost Australia, your organisation
must currently operate a commercial organics processing facility
that complies with all relevant state and local regulatory and licensing
requirements.
Associate membership:
Industry stakeholders who are not licensed organics processors,
such as consultants, government agencies, educational institutions,
local government and allied industries etc. are welcome to join
Compost Australia as associate members. Associate members enjoy
all functional benefits of full membership, but are not eligible
for membership of the Compost Australia committee, and do not have
voting rights within Compost Australia.

How
to join Compost Australia
To join compost
Australia requires filling out a single WMAA
membership form on the internet, and ticking the relevant
box to also join Compost Australia:
1.
Join WMAA (in the category of membership that suits your
needs; either as Individual member, Corporate member
or Local Government member);
2. Join Compost Australia Division (additional
$99 incl. GST). Under the “National Division' sub-heading
on the WMAA membership form, simply check the box to join Compost
Australia. Please note that membership of Compost Australia is separate
to membership of your respective state based Compost Working Group
(see below).
3. Submit the form via internet, post or fax to
WMAA (instructions on form).
