Benefits of WMAA membership

Membership categories

Compost Australia is legally constituted as a National Division of the Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA). Compost Australia members therefore must also be members of the WMAA, and are subject to the associated WMAA rules and code of conduct.

Full membership:
To be eligible for full membership of Compost Australia, your organisation must currently operate a commercial organics processing facility that complies with all relevant state and local regulatory and licensing requirements.

Associate membership:
Industry stakeholders who are not licensed organics processors, such as consultants, government agencies, educational institutions, local government and allied industries etc. are welcome to join Compost Australia as associate members. Associate members enjoy all functional benefits of full membership, but are not eligible for membership of the Compost Australia committee, and do not have voting rights within Compost Australia.
