The starting point for managing organic wastes is to work out how
much organic waste your business or organisation produces. Then
you can identify opportunities for improved on-site management of
organic waste, and begin to consider technologies that may meet
your specific needs.
Rather than conducting an unpleasant “waste audit” which
involves significant OH&S risk and management, the collection
of compostable organic materials (e.g. food) in separate dedicated
bins is a much simpler and safer option.
