The report Processing of Commercial and Industrial Organics in Vermiculture Systems is now available. This report evaluated the use of in-vessel vermiculture systems to process commercial and industrial organics into recycled organics, such as vermicast. Laboratory-scale vermiculture systems were specifically designed to simulate conditions likely to be experienced in vertical loading, continuous-flow vermiculture units.

The report documents the range of commercial and industrial organics that can be efficiently processed in vermiculture units, and the processing capacity of these units for particular types of organics.
