The report NSW Spreading Service Providers for Recycled Organics Products is now available.

This report identifies New South Wales spreading service providers and lists them by region. Also identified are the types of products the service providers spread and the spreading equipment suppliers.

It is targeted towards the commercial, urban and agricultural markets, as these sectors display significant potential to utilise such technology to improve their organics management practices.

The objectives of this report are to:
• Identify regional providers of spreading services;
• Identify providers of spreading service equipment; and
• Identify what products are currently spread by service providers.

The availability of compost spreading service providers and the cost of product application has been identified as a significant issue for the uptake of composted mulch products in a range of markets and an impediment to the use of recycled organics products for certain industries. Market research within the viticulture industry has indicated that the limited availability of information regarding the availability and cost of compost spreading service providers was an obstacle to the use of composts.
