www.rolibrary.com provides both catalogue entries and full document hosting for free. Submitting resources brings a wide range of benefits to library contributors.

A) Who can submit?

Anyone can submit a resource, however submissions must include author and publisher contact details and a complete copy of the resource/publication.


B) What kinds of resources are eligible?

Professional, quality work that is relevant to the Recycled Organics industry in Australia.

Resources that cover any of the following:

  • A range of compostable organic materials including: residual food, garden organics, wood and timber, agricultural and biosolids;
  • Materials composition studies, characterisations and audits;
  • The collection, management, processing of compostable organic materials;
  • Quality assurance, and the marketing and use of recycled organic products;
  • Regulations and standards;
  • Research and development;
  • Management plans and strategies.

Publications, software and audio/visual material.

Recent and previous work.

www.rolibrary.com does not include:
  • "How to" information on home composting and worm farming;
  • trade journal articles;
  • advertising material for processors, products, and consultants;
  • promotional brochures.

C) How to submit: step by step

If you are unsure if a resource is eligible, contact the Recycled Organics Unit before continuing.

Submit by following the 4 simple steps below. This should take about half an hour.

Step 1. Read the conditions of use below.

Step 2. Download the submission form.

Step 3. Return the completed submission form AND a complete copy of the resource to the www.rolibrary.com administrator.

Once the resource is received, the ROU will upload your catalogue entry. You will receive a notification to check your draft catalogue entry.

Step 4. You then have 14 days to provide changes to this draft catalogue entry.


D) www.rolibrary.com administration services

The Recycled Organics Unit administers www.rolibrary.com. The following services are provided at no cost to library users and contributors:

  • screening potential catalogue entries against eligibility criteria;
  • accepting completed submission forms;
  • accepting complete copies of the actual resource;
  • maintaining a secure hardcopy library of resources hosted;
  • uploading data and maintaining www.rolibrary.com;
  • hosting softcopy resources online at www.rolibrary.com;
  • providing quarterly email updates of the latest resources at www.rolibrary.com to contributors.

The Recycled Organics Unit will not:

  • provide individual assistance to website users who are searching for information.
  • provide hardcopies of publications listed on this site, other than ROU publications upon request. For complete copies of a resource, note the Availability of the resource and contact the Publisher directly using the contact details given in the Detailed results.

E) CONDITIONS OF USE of www.rolibrary.com

1) Submission of a complete electronic and/or hard copy of the resource to the Recycled Organics Unit is a condition of use of www.rolibrary.com. Some authors may wish to restrict availability of particular resources (e.g. And only make the executive summary or table of contents publicly available). This can be specified in the submission form and will be strictly adhered to. However, a complete electronic or hard copy must be provided to the Recycled Organics Unit for the purpose of quality control. Where availability of the resource is restricted by the publisher, the resource will be kept in a secure physical location.

2) Catalogue details will not be entered into www.rolibrary.com until the entire resource is received by the Recycled Organics Unit either in electronic and/or hard copy format. Authors are responsible for delivering the resource to the Recycled Organics Unit in an appropriate and legible format.

3) Authors who wish to make available electronic copies of their resource for hosting on www.rolibrary.com shall accept responsibility for communicating to the Recycled Organics Unit when a the resource is replaced or updated.

4) The Recycled Organic Unit is not responsible for providing copies of reports that are not directly online. This responsibility is retained by the owner of the resource. Owners can specify the "Availability" and "Publisher" details for each resource in the catalogue listing.

4) Information hosted on www.rolibrary.com is for information purposes only. The Recycled Organics Unit is not responsible for the content made available in the database, and disclaims all liability arising from the use or misuse of such information.
